- FASTag is a technology of electronic toll connection. In fact, toll tax is charged by the government to pass their vehicle on the national highway, they are known to make toll plazas on the highway to collect toll tax. People used to pay here through Phale Kash. But then the government has made it online. This is called the FASTag facility. Every 4 wheeler driver has to install FASTag in his vehicle. To get this FASTag, they have to first register after which it is issued for their vehicle. With this, they do not have to pay in cash at the toll plaza, it becomes automatic online.
- FASTag is installed in the windscreen of the vehicle and it is equipped with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). As soon as your vehicle comes near the toll plaza, then the sensor on the toll plaza comes in contact with the FASTag installed in the windscreen of your vehicle, deducts the fee from your FASTAC account at that toll plaza and you stay there without stopping. Pay your plaza tax.
